What’s been happening:

As of late I have become somewhat of an IT Security Certification junky. In addition to having my M.Ed. from Penn State after my name, I can now also use some or all of the following: CISSP, CISM, GPEN, CEH, MCNE, NAI, CNE, CNA, MCSA, MCP, Security+, Project+, Network+, A+. As a ten year veteran of Network Systems Engineering and Support on the campus of Wheaton College, I have recently assumed the role of their inaugural security analyst and ethical hacker. In addition, I am in the process of pursuing a Master of Information Technology & Management (MITM) degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a specialization in Computer and Network Security. Finally, This summer I will be mentoring the SANS SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking Course. My wife, Erica, and I have three wonderful children under the age of five (Julie, Melody & Joseph), and hope to keep our family growing.
